MOE Teaching Scholarships Presentation Ceremony 2005

Its the big day i had been looking forward to ever since i knew im gonna get the MOE Teaching Award. Now that it is over.. i can say that i had such a wonderful time!! hahaa... First good thing that happened was i met YiFang.. my school mate from primary school all the way to JC... and same class from pri1 to sec2 lor! Today see her really happy... turns out she's on Education Merit Scholarship.. now studying Economics in London... And she is so much more girlie now!! hahaa... We had a nice chat... she told me she's on attachment in TKSS.. and happened to meet Mdm Chee, the teacher i invited to the ceremony. Mdm Chee told her that she got a big shock seeing the invitation but she's gonna come and support me! hahahaa.. i was so happy to hear that.

During the break after the boring rehearsal.. i went off to get some coffee and food with WeiCang (he is also MOE TA holder)... then i met xu lao shi there!!! (xu lao shi is how we always call Mdm Chee) Seeing her and talking to her is a great pleasure.. Because she is a truly inspiring teacher who made a deep impression in me and my fellow classmates from sec school... She is strict and demanding, she scolds and punishes, but we all still like her very much. Thats the amazing thing about her.... She reprimands us in way that we feel that she cares... and she doesnt demoralises us... so we all respect and admire her... And she can be really humourous at times! Until now, some of us still visits her on Chinese New year eve or Teacher's Day... we would always have a nice chat reminiscing abt the past.

This time was no exception. After the ceremony, at the tea reception i met up with my mom and Weiliat who went to support me.. and also met xu lao shi to have some food together.. then chat chat chat.. haha... really a lot of things to talk about leh... Chatted for so so long... And we met Mrs Chan, ex-principal of TKGS, now principal of ACJC... then chat chat chat.. but this conversation was a bit more chim.. so i was a bit less involved.. But nonetheless, i did chipped in a bit of my valuable opinions... hahaha. (we were talking abt the changes in chinese curriculum which naturally interested xu lao shi)

All these conversations left me very inspired.. now i dream of becoming a principal liao!! haha. Dare to send your kid to my school in future?? hahaha...
