Its New Year's Eve.
A year has gone by so fast indeed...

Looking back now... hmm.. I shall recall the best things that happened this year...
In order of importance (ascending order)...
1. Tourism Field Studies Module - Especially all the wonderful times i spent in Malaysia with my new found friends... And a grade B+ for the module which is not too bad la.. (considering how much more time i spent on having fun than on work)
2. MOE Teaching Scholarship Award Presentation Ceremony - It was a day in which i felt so proud of myself and i made my mom, my ex-teacher, and my ex-principal proud of me too..
3. Bintan trip - Going out with my 2 darlings - Iuan Xuan and Sheya, is always so fun... And our trip to Bintan despite being a short weekend only, was so so SHIOK.. A totally crazy experience that i will never forget...
4. Getting my semester 1 results : 22/12/2005 - The shock i got when i saw my brilliant results was a bitter sweet experience... And i enjoyed the process of smiling at the results slip until my mouth ached.
5. Getting back all my projects - And i realise i got A grade for all of them.. So happy..

And many many more bah...

Hmm... looks like i have very few friends hor.. Haha.. And it looks like i have few leisure activities too! ...Hahaha.. Im pathetic...
But i have no choice.. Cos the rest of the time im preoccupied with these activities..
- attend lecture
- attend tutorial
- read notes/readings
- do projects
- study for tests/exams
- give tuition
& - riding bus 30.
AND.. all these cant be considered 'the best things that happened in this year'.

So my life sounds boring hor.

Nevermind.. next year will be a better year.

These are my new year resolutions.
1. Get rid of the fats in my thighs and butt, and reduce pants size from 27 to 26.
2. Pass my driving test at one shot.
3. Be as hardworking as the previous semester, and get brilliant results again.
and..
4. Get a NEW life... a life that is filled with more happiness and less sadness.

Good luck to all those who are outside celebrating the coming of the new year in countdown parties... I mean im praying that it doesnt rain.. Haha.
As for me... Im staying at home.. Spending my new year's eve slacking.. And im not feeling well also la.. Poor thing hor. =P

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day and Happy Boxing Day!

I had a very fun Christmas Day i would say. Thanks to my 2 darlings Sheya and Iuan Xuan.
They accompanied me to Raffles Hotel to watch Vjchoir's carolling performance at the hotel lobby. Its called a renuion session because victorians from various batches come together to sing or watch at least. There will be many seniors coming back to join the juniors.. even some of those very very old ones like year 7, year 8 and above will be there too... Its an annual occasion in which we get to meet old friends and catch up on good times.. Its the time when i can feel the victorian spirit again.. Something i miss dearly.

Of course this year was no exception. I met up with friends whom i've probably not seen for a year.. Jiahui, Evelyn, Timothy, Wenjie, Baolin, Owen and etc.. Even though times have changed, people may have changed too, and we may have nothing much to talk about.. But the fact that i can see them again and knowing that they are well makes me feel warm at heart.

Hearing the choir sing again really touched me deeply.. I cant believe that i almost teared when i heard the first line of 'Joy to the World' sounded in the hotel lobby.. the notes echoed in my heart and memories flooded my mind.. I can almost see myself wearing that white gown standing at the extreme left singing my favourite soprano part. I was among the many people who was crowding in the lobby watching... looking at the choir, i felt a sense of pride and affinity.. even though i saw many new faces and especially young ones (making me feel old, im year 4 already man.).. probably its cos i know THIS IS the VICTORIA JUNOIR COLLEGE CHOIR... faces may have changed, the soul and spirit never changes.. its ever so familiar.

After the carol session, the 3 of us walked over to Suntec Carrefour for a major shopping spree.. the unique thing is, this time we not shopping for clothes or shoes, we are shopping for FOOD. In fact it was our first time.. i was utterly amazed by the amount we bought. I guess we are all-rounded shopaholics. Be it clothes or food, it doesnt matter. Just BUY BUY BUY. WOO HOO. These are what we bought - 1 whole honey glazed roosted chicken, salmon belly sushi and a lot of assorted others, 1 large apple pie, 1 large bottle of orange juice and 1 large tub of Rocky Road ice-cream.. We still wanted to buy a pizza but didnt cos we guess we cant finish.

So after our shopping spree we headed off to Iuan Xuan's house at Telok Kurau. We started our 3 Little Pigs Night at around 6.30pm.. Haha.. We had a movie marathon from 6.30pm to 1.30am... and nearly ate non-stop as well... One of the movies we watched was 'Love Actually'.. One of my favourite movies, and my favourite Christmas movie.. This movie consists of 10 different stories speaking of different kinds of love.. love betwen siblings, love between parent and child, unrequited love, adultery, lust, secret admiring, and even love between 2 people who cant even understand each other's language.. still got a others.. Basically this show tells us that LOVE is everywhere, exists in many ways.. and all of us needs love... especially during the Christmas season we shd spread love to people around us.

Now i finally know how it feels like to be a couch potato... We really just sat on the sofa and moved nothing but our mouths. (and a bit of our fingers too.) Thinking back now.. I really cant believe that we could be so piggish. And the way be devoured the chicken was... ermm.. *censored* ... But anyway it was a wonderful experience. Thank you Iuan Xuan for being the host and for sending me and Sheya home. =)

Btw.. I've registered at the Ubi driving school.. Gonna take my basic theory test next month. But i plan to start practical lessons during my next holidays.. during school term will be too busy with work and somemore i have 4 tuitions now.

AND one more thing.. wah lau such an important news i actually forgot to mention earlier.
