Kids are such adorable little darlings.

Yesterday me and weiliat went back to his house at Pek Kio (near to Farrer Park Mrt) to watch vcds.. (Btw he presently lives at his Grandma's house)... But ended up his house vcd player got some problems... so we were stuck with nothing much to do.. SO.. we went to a place three bus stops away to seek entertainment.. Guess where is it?
Hahaha.. you'll nv guess it.
KK Hospital.
Well.. probably you can guess it was my idea... Just wanna go there see the cute little darlings wrapped up in blue or pink. They are soooo cuteeeee!
And i got an enlightenment.. i used to think the government's talk abt needing more babies is a bit too anxious.. however after my visit to KK im thinking otherwise.. After combing the whole place, we saw only abt 20 odd babies.. THATS ALL?!!
Gosh.. KK is where most babies are borned and yet there were only 20 odd of them. So assuming the other hospitals in Singapore have about 10+ babies borned per day.. means Singapore has only abt 100 babies borned per day!! ..That goes to prove how BAD Singapore's birth rate is. yea.. sad case...

Today me and weiliat went swimming with his 2 little cousins at the newly renovated Geylang East Swimming Complex.. nice place.. big children's playground... where the 2 monkeys had so much fun.. that we didnt have enough eyes to keep them at bay. Hahaa... The boy is 5 yrs old called Eng Joe the girl is 3 yrs old called Limin... and they both very scared of water.. it took us quite some time to convince them that they wun drown in the water which only reached their waist... diao... But after they realised wad we said were true.. they had a lot of fun and so did us. =)

After that we brought the older one to Raffles Place to see Winnie the Pooh.. the younger one went home cos we cant handle 2 monkeys at the same time. hehee. .. It was a toy fair cum phototaking session with Pooh and friends.. But take photos with them must queue la.. we didnt queue so just look from the side lo.. But enough to make the little kid happie le. hehee

Today is the 26th of November which marks the end of my exams!!!
wooooohhoooooo!!
I'm feeling as happppiiiiieeeeeeee as can beeeeee!
Went to watch Bridget Jones Diary with Sheya at Bugis and ate my favourite Teppanyaki... Yum yum yummy... and the movie was fantastic.. in my opinion.. Well, lots of critics said the sequel is much worse than the first.. but i think both equally nice.
We did a lot of shopping.. or rather we did a lot of windor shopping... the whole of Bugis Junction, Seiyu, and including the Bugis Village and Albert OG. gosh.. my legs are aching..
And my heart is aching too... cos i saw so many things i wanna buy but i'm so broke!!
I saw a gorgeous top at Topshop, pretty shoes at Exodus, and a nice bag, ear-rings, necklace, watch.... oh and the list goes on... Hahaa. Hope Santa's reading this. =)

MOst importantly...my worst papers, Chinese and History are over.. hate these two modules cos they are all essay questions.. and somemore they were on the same day!
Which was yesterday.. after the 2 papers over i was sooooOOoo happy lo... i met my bf at Jurong Point and watched THE INCREDIBLES!! Great show man.. enjoyed myself very much although i was kinda sleepy.

SO today i had my first exam. EL1101E - The Nature of Language ... open-book exam.
Open-book exam may sound like easy to you... but seriously none of the answers can be found in the textbook... the texbook only provides a reference.. you have to think THINK THINK to get the answers.. and its very hard to get them right.. sigh..
AND the damn exam hall (MPSH) is SO SO SO COLD. I think next time i'll bring the thick woollen jacket i brought to Prague last time.. I'm serious!

I was in hospital for the past 2 days...its the third time this year...gosh.. i really have a very weak stomach.. always give me problems.. this time is the worst of all.
Food poisoning, diarrhoea, dehydration, high fever, fainted.
Things really didnt go well for me..

Firstly a stupid doctor inserted the intravenous drip needle into my left hand vein in such an unprofessional way that the needle went out of place and cut through my vein.. one thing of cos is it hurt like hell and now leave one big bruise which will take forever to heal.. and another thing is my drip has to be put on my right hand which greatly impedes my writing and doing of a lot of other things.. cos my left hand is quite retarded.

Secondly, my temperature shot up like crazy on my first day.. the highest record was 39.7, nearly hit 40 loh.. The nurse said i'll become stupid.. so i told her i got exams starting in one day's time.. Then she so frantically got lotsa ice and rub them on me.. I've never seen ice melt so fast man.

Thirdly, the ward i was in got many old people.. and they whole night dun seem to sleep de leh.. keep calling nurses to bring food la bring water la..blah blah... pple walk in walk out, lights on and off and on and off.... really can die.. i almost didnt sleep at all.

Forthly, on my second day i was already feeling much better (thats yesterday) but the doctor refuse to let me discharge cos my conditions not very stable.. but i got exams today mah.. so i had to argue with the doctor.. he say will consider and see me in a few more hours. So i drank a lot of water such that my temperature dropped to 37 (phew!)... and i was diligently studying.. with my notes and books strewn all over my bed.. Well, i guess the doctor was touched my my determination to take the exam so he let me go!! woohoo!! .. hehee

Hmm... so far i only talk abt the bad parts of my hospital stay.. Now let me talk abt some things nice.. (Hospital stay got nice things meh??) .. yea of cos got la
Nurses are such wonderfully nice pple. (especially those who are young, those old old de jiu not sure la =P) When u are sick and useless, they are your ANGELS. I was blessed with really nice nurses.. they are all around my age.. real caring, cheerful and always smiles... And somemore they are quite pretty leh... Thats good cos my bf was willing to stay with me for the whole day cos he got pretty girls to see.. haha.. One of them even praised my bf for being so sweet.. then he almost couldnt stop beaming at me. (cant stand..) I think nurses really have a touch job and they are sooooo li hai.. can handle all sorts of problematic patients (im not one of them) and can speak all sorts of languages... there's one nurse in my ward who can speak 5 languages: english, chinese, hokkien, cantonese, malay. li hai bah!

This is a conversation between me and a nurse..... (it was in chinese)
Nurse: hello!! im gonna give you an injection... but im very skilful de la.. will make sure it'll not be painful.. so u dun be scared k?
Me: orhh.. its okie la..
Nurse attempts to distract me by asking me wad school i from and wad i study..
Nurse: injection done lo! pain anot? huh? i skilful right?
Me: ermm.. ya.. not painful
Nurse: haha.. told you liao loh!
Nurse smiles brilliantly to herself....
Me: well.. actually i already had 2 injections yesterday.. this is nothing la.
Nurse:.....

Haha.. this is not to mock nurses k.. in fact im trying to show that nurses really go all out to try and relieve our pain.. so NURSES I SALUTE YOU!

Life seems to have turned better... cos u koe why? Weiliat is a sergeant now.. haha.. more specifically.. a slack sergeant of PLAB FDS. This is his super slack schedule..

and so on..........
So his ns life has turned for the better.. and in turn make my life better too. Cos he can go school with me!! hehee.. for the past 2 days he went NUS with me and sat in my lectures... surprisingly he wasnt bored to death... perhaps he was bio-ing chio bus? hmmm.... no la.. haha.. he very guai de... help me take notes. (!!) .. yea.. chinese lecture mah.. his chinese so zai.. of cos help me la. =)
..well.. other than can go school with me there are other super good pts la... like.. can watch weekday movies and save money, can go eat weekday buffets and save money as well, and can avoid weekend crowds too... Aint this great?!! woooohooo!

heheh.. i've got another great news. My long-time-single friend has finally got herself a bf!!
I've known her since sec1.. one of my best friends... And all these years she has countless guys chasing her.. (well maybe not countless... a few at least).. many of which are good-looking.. (im so jealous!).. And i've always wondered why is she single for so long?! ..probably waiting for the perfect one to come along bah..now finally come le loh... good things are worth the wait man... Haha.. im so happy for her..

5566 autograph session at IMM: 7/11/04 Sunday 3pm
(programme includes standing under the hot sun, holding umbrellas, trying to read notes, wiping sweat, arguing with security personnel, being pushed about, hearing ear-piercing screams, and... wad more? ...oh ya.. still got see 5566 of cos. Thats like a very small part of the whole 'ordeal')

Does this sound like something that i would go for?
Of course not.

Well... today i made an exception. I went.. Hahaa... My good buddy Sheya asked me to go de...
Anyway i joined her and her friends in the queue only at 1pm.. while they were there since 7am.. Wad a cheater i am.. Hahaa.. Nearly got trouble with the security pple.. But my friend was so steady.. just argue a bit the security person no choice diam.. Haha.. Sheya has been to countless of such things... EXPERIENCED man.
One thing i cant take is the cheerings and screamings of those fans... they are out to damage their vocal cords man... as a choir member for the past 10 years... i certainly didnt follow their madness.. but i was nearly driven crazy by the constant ear-piercing screams. All those fans are just like a big bunch of pple released from Woodbridge Hospital.. alright enuff said.

Other than all these bad pts... well.. hehe... at least i finally got to see my favourite Sun Xie Zhi in person.. somemore face to face with less then 30cm apart!! haha.. and while he autographed on my poster he looked up and smiled at me twice!! alright... im not crazy k.. at least i didnt scream with excitment .. i just smiled back. hehe.

Yesterday was such an eventful day!

It was my bf's graduation from ASLC (Advance Section Leader Course).. which means he is finally getting his '3 arrows'.. which looks like 3 boomerangs side by side.. haha.. basically is 3SG (third sergeant) rank la. So happens, its the same day as the 21st anniversary of the Field Defence Squadron (FDS) of Paya Lebar Air Base... so a celebration was held in the air base.. dinner cum prize-giving cum performance cum singing competition... It was an absolutely enjoyable event for me... cos my bf took part in the singing competition and sang his chen2 ming2 qu3 - xin1 ru2 dao1 ge1 (my heart like kena stabbed) by Jacky Cheung... and while he sang his whole company stood up and sang with him... It was such a touching moment that i nearly teared.. Haha.. Guess what was the result? .. He got second! Lost to an officer who sang xiang1 yu4 tai4 zao3... And i think he won cos he's shuai la.. Anyway according to some inside info my bf only lost to him by a few votes.. Aiyah.. But he really is quite shuai la.. hahaa.

After the celebrations at PLAB.. a group of us went ZOUK.. cos weiliat's friend somehow got free tickets.. bu qu bai bu qu.. It was my first time there, in fact first time going to a pub/disco.. But it seems to the rest of them its unbelievable that i'm a first-timer... Haha.. cos somehow im quite a good drinker... i was rather surprised at myself too.. that i could drink quite a lot without getting drunk. The dancing part was a great experience too cos i could anyhow dance without worrying abt other pple seeing how bad my dancing was... haha.. cos no one can really see la.. so dark and so crowded.. And everyone is so 'high'.. who cares how bad your dancing is man.

So yeah... had a nice time.. felt so proud of my bf.. he got his 6th singing competition trophy... while i have none..

Countdown : 15 more days to exams
Its the mugging season again!!! hmm... Actually i've been mugging ever since start of sem... so now its SUPER MUGGING SEASON. Getting real stressed out these days... especially by my Chinese module... Its not really the problem of not understanding the notes or wad... its more of a fear that i will end up writing my answer script in hanyu pinyin!!! yea.... haven been writing chinese characters since i left sec sch leh.... Chinese characters are so unfamiliar to me... I've been taking notes during lectures and tutorials all in English man... WAH LAO.. exam answers can write in english anot??! Hai..... stresssssss ahhh.
