DA CHANG JIN marathon.
Thats wad i have been busy with these days. My highest record is 10 disc in a day, which is equivalent to 10 hours, which means i spend nearly all my awake time watching the show. How amazing. If i can do the same for my readings then i will get 4.8 for my CAP. But that will never happen. Da Chang Jin is not the same as those boring readings. This show is fantastic! Not the usual qing qing ai ai, make pple cry type of Korean serial.. This show invloves a splendid display of Korean culture, including their cuisine, medicine, costumes, way of life (in the 1500s) and so on.. and also the true reflection of corruption in the court, and rivalry between fellow palace maids... etc.. Basically the love part is kept minimal. Thats what i like abt this show... its different. hehehe... Now im hooked to korean cuisine...

The bottom few photos with Sheya, Iuan Xuan and me are taken on Sunday (11/9) when we went shopping in Orchard.. In the end we didnt buy anything, but spent a lot on food instead. We ate dinner at a new teppanyaki restaurant in Takashimaya (cant remember the name of the restaurant), followed by desserts in NYDC... So so fattening.. But i dun need to care. haha..

Had such a wonderful time today!!
Papa actually came all the way to NUS all by himself wor! He could remember how to take MRT to Clementi then change bus 96... I was so impressed. Tell me to go UM all by myself i will surely get lost. heheh..
A total of 9 people turned up for dinner together at Munchie Monkey. These include...

As you can see nearly everyone has a nickname.. created at one time or another during that module.. the above list is in chronological order. Basically most of the names were thoughtfully invented by Esther... So u can imagine how we tried to get back at her by coming up with the worse nickname of all for her!! hahaha... the nickname comes with a full set of actions too orh. Contact any of us for a live demonstration. hahaha...
Anyway, the food at Munchie Monkey was great.. I looooove the crayfish pasta.. cheap and nice.. Yummy yummy. Too bad papa dun like spagetti.
After dinner, all except for jj, gabriel and hongyi, went for KTV at Clementi Kbox. We sang until super super HIGH lor... especially me and zhiliang korkor.. HIGH until cannot stop singing.. on the way home on MRT still singing.. When i reach home in bathroom i still singing. wahaha... It was a pity we couldnt stay longer.. cos we paid student price, only for 7pm to 10pm. Papa also damn smart lor.. he obviously not a student in singapore but he still got keep the NUS matri card he was given during the module and he still got bring wor! wah seh.. so he got student price also. li hai hor.
I was enjoying myself so much that i was quite sad that the day had to end so early.. Somemore papa have to go home in the morning the next day.. So we couldnt have somemore fun. Well, good things have to end too. Hope there will be a next time!

PAPA IS COMING TO VISIT US TOMORROW!!!
Im so excited!! hahaa... I really miss him.. i wonder whether he has changed.. grown fatter? thinner? English better already? hahaa... anyway i miss is terok English.. so its okie. hehee.
AAAHHHH.. i dunno wad to say... Just excited abt the whole gathering.. all of us can reminisce abt our happy times in KL and catch up on each other's life too!! Arent it great? =)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING!! (weiliat's bday is on 31st august actually)
You are finally 20!! haha.. finally catch up with my age liao.. although you will always still be 1.5 months younger than me...hahaha..
Really dun have much time to blog these days... even if i have time also dunno wad to write about.. Cos my life revolves around mundane things.. which i dun even feel like thinking abt.. Hmm... this sounds exactly the same as wad i said last yr at this time...hehee.. But some things are much different this sem.. different in a good way i suppose. This sem i have a lot of help from many seniors whom i befriended during the Field Studies Module...Help in terms of telling me which modules are good to take, bidding advice, borrow notes/readings/model essays, get special tips for projects, answering my queries... blah blah.. Somehow i feel very very fortunate, cos i think i would be rather lost without all their help. Thanks korkors and jiejies!!
