Sheya and Iuan Xuan are my KTV khakis... this holidays i think we went for KTV like 4 times? Thats quite a lot hor.. Actually we also go shopping, cycling, or chiong-ing together... The three of us are like a trio.. often doing things together. What am i trying to say here man.. hmm.. Basically i feel very glad that out of all my JC classmates, there are 2 whom i meet regularly even though both of them are in NTU... Its like whenever i feel like going KTV or cycling or whatever.. i know i have people to turn to.. I can always count on my khakis! Its a nice feeling la..haha... Thanks xuan and yaya!! hahaa... especially sheya who always accomodate xuan and I by coming parkway cos both of us live nearby.. heheh... Anyway, maybe we should give ourselves a name? What about KBoxers? since we go KBox so often.. wahahaha.

YEAAAHHHH!!
Today last day of work!!
Haha.. the permanent staff treated the temp staffs... Calvin treated us to Burger King for lunch while Dean bought lotsa sushi for afternoon tea... Shiok man... I ate non-stop from morning till night... Cos after work we went to eat zhi cha at Far East Plaza... damn nice food all day round. (i ate a scone from Coffee Bean for breakfast).
Besides food.. one good thing about today is my paycheck!! haha... $522 bucks for 11 days of work only... Not bad eh. hehee.. Cant wait to cash it in and see the figure in my bank book. =)

Office work is boring. Especially now im no longer doing translations... im just typing out lesson plans everyday... And each one is quite similar to the next... So boring man!!
So now im very glad ive decided to quit one week earlier than wad was planned... which is tomorrow!! hehee.... Very happy. Next week i shall spend my time at home monitoring the bidding process, watch VCDs, watch TV, read magazines, do facials, do manicure, eat eat eat, sleep sleep sleep... And perhaps go shopping on one of the days. Anyway me, sheya and iuan xuan have plans to go cycling next saturday liao!! So long never go out and do some exercise loh... hahaha.. Now im just look forward to my wonderful one week break before school starts!!

And talking about bidding... its really the most irritating thing to do.... Got to consider so many things when choosing the modules.
1. the lecture timing
2. the exam date
3. whether the module is easy
4. whether the lecturer is slack
5. whether it fulfils the requirement you need to fulfil
6. whether there is friend taking with you
7. whether you have enough points to bid for it
And then after considering everything... you think you will get the module and live happily ever after... not the case...unexpected things often happen during bidding. There might be some idiots put in 1000+ points... when u have only 200 to spare... then that module is gone liao.. And you have to plan all over again.
The worst thing is... this whole ordeal lasts for 3 weeks.. until you settle all your tutorial slots.
SIGH.

I am 20 years old loh!! Hehe... I think 20 is a nice age to be... neither too young nor too old. You see... before twenty, you are seventeen, eighteen, nineteen... always something-teen... So you are considered a teenager.. sounds young mah... Then once you are 21, you are immediately considered old cos 21 is the age that represents adulthood.. And people always say after 21 time passes very fast. SO 20 is like the transition... in between an adult and a teenager... so must treasure this time.. Hahaha.

On my birthday papa called me and we talked for nearly half an hour! He asked me what are my birthday wishes... I mentioned quite a few..
1. I want a CAP of 4.2 this semester.
2. I want to stay healthy and be free of illnesses.
3. I want to gain a bit of weight and look prettier.
4. I want to save enough money by next holidays so that i can go KL for shopping.
Thats about all... im not greedy... If im greedy i would have added this...
5. I want a driving license and a new car.
Yea... If only birthday wishes really do come true.

Im gonna get $ from MOE soon! The MOE Teaching Award Presentation ceremony is on 4 August. And it seems like a super grand ceremony held in Suntec Convention Centre. They added in new stuffs which makes this year's ceremony different from past years.... like this time got a special performance by senior TA holders, also awardees need to invite "a teacher who inspired you" to attend the ceremony and "share your joys"... hahaa... I invited Mdm Adela Chee - my HCL teacher in TKGS! Actually i didnt have a choice la... not many teachers remember me... (in a good way).. so she's the only one... And she is a chinese teacher so at least she can communicate better with my parents during the event. One more thing, they are gonna present a powerpoint show of all the awardees' faces and their profiles. So we are gonna have our faces flashed on the BIG screen! Thank goodness i sent in a nice picture of myself... hehe.

One good news!! "Papa" says he is coming to Singapore end of next month!! haha... finally can see him again, and he can see all his daughters... Recently he even got himself an IDD card so that he can make cheap phonecalls to Singapore! Papa is sooooo nice to us.. haha.

One more good news!! I AM GONNA BE 20 YEARS OLD SOON!! haha... no more something-teen... so basically im no more a teenager.. im an adult.. wooohoo!! haha... nice feeling.

Im in the office again...
Not exactly bored with nothing to do... actually i have a lot of things to do la... but here i am eating snake. haha...

Yesterday i was looking through some of the teaching materials of this education centre... and came across this instruction booklet for looking at 3D images... So i gave it a try...
Btw, i've actually tried looking at this kinda 3D thingy ever since it started... which means i've tried for a few years already... BUT I HAVE NEVER SUCCEEDED BEFORE.
And this time was no exception... after staring and staring for 1 hour until my contact lenses felt like they were poping out... i still cant see a thing! i mean i can see the all the complicated rubbish la... but i cant see the 3D thingy. This is sad lo... whats wrong with my eyes?? or my brain?? Those little kids who attend lessons here can grasp this within one lesson... and they are only 2 -3 years old leh. Am i abnormal or wad. sheesh.

Today is my third day of work...ONLY my third day of work (?!)...Time passes so slowly cause im so bored... so very bored...Reminds me of the song: “Lonely...I am so Lonely... I am Nobody..." ...and this song reminds me of Serman (this song is his hp's ringtone) ... and reminds me of the whole Malaysia trip... Sheessh... Zhiliang is already in Melaka having honeymoon with his gf... Pei Shi is going to Cameron with bf... Kamal is going back to KL... Why am I stuck here in Singapore? I want to go back!!! Somebody sponsor me to go shopping in KL!!! Ahaha... im crazy.

Btw, im in the office... usually I am not so bored cause I have MSN to use and I talk to Xuan and Sheya the whole day long... they also doing sian-ji-pua office work... So the three of us would entertain each other as the time goes by slowly... But today MSN not working.. so im more bored than usual.

Oh ya.. I've gotten my results for this field studies module... I got a B+. Sounds not bad as I say it hor... in fact I was very happy at first to get a B+ ... I mean since I didn't do much work there and had so much fun instead... get a B+ I should be contented ya? But then later I found out that Zhiliang got A+, Hongyi got A- ... And I bet still got many more As... I thought.. How come they can play play play and get A, I play play play and get B? argh. Nvm... at least my CAP remains at 3.95... actually it should increase to 3.954... but somehow they round down... so doesn't make a difference. Haiz. It OK... I will work harder next time. My resolution for next semester: MUST GET CAP SCORE OF 4 AND ABOVE!! 3-point-something sounds so nan ting.

I finally found a job! That was after calling many agencies, sending many resumes and looking through countless 'Recruits'... And this job is not so bad la... At least im not doing brainless work the whole day long like many of my friends do. haha... Guess wad my job is about?
Basically i work as a translator in this brain training centre for kids... Because the director is a Japanese and she doesnt know English (at least she koes chinese)... so all the publications for now are in chinese.. for example the brochures, magazines for the students and parents.. all in chinese lo... So my job is to translate all these to english and type out nicely.. so the company can publish these stuffs in english.. Very brain-consuming leh this job. From 10am to 7pm sit there translate things... and some not simple chinese you know... there are some scientific articles lo... got those chim chim physics or chemistry terms, plus names of scientists... wah seh...sometimes dictionary also cant help ah! ... And the pay is $6 per hr only... i really think it should be more... considering how much brain cells i destroy per hr.
