Went to NUS three days in a row...
Matriculation and CCA walk about wasnt very interesting... firstly i didnt meet anyone i know... and i dun seem to find any interest in any of the CCAs..
I think i'm the only one from VJC S1(trip sci) fac to go to FASS... yea.. i think i'm the only one crazy enough to go study arts after so many years of trip sci... So far, among everyone i know in FASS, nobody is gonna major in geog... It seems geog is not popular... Oh well... Hopefully this means i can save on my bidding points..
Talking about this stupid bidding thing... i'm feeling so fed up... There are just so many things to consider.. Lecture time cannot clash, tutorial time cannot clash, exam time cannot clash..... And i trying to make it a 4-day week... plus trying to take same modules as my friends so i wun be so lonely(which is quite hard cos nobody likes geog)... And of course i've gotta like the modules also...
AND even if i manage to plan everything nicely, doesnt mean its the end of my worries... What if i dun get the modules i want? sigh...

The whole modular system is driving me nuts... Spent 2 nights trying desparately to find 5 modules which i wanna study... After sieving out 8 which i like... i realise their timings clash... Either lecture time clash or exam time clash.. ARGHHH. Why so troublesome!! Now im stuck at 4... cant find another module that fits into the rest of the timings.

Went to NUS for medical checkup today... I got lost.
I changed bus 3 times before finding MPSH.. got lost, called Crystal and realised the Health Centre is at Yusof Ishak House... sigh.. I was sweating like mad by the time i reached there...
Why are there so many slopes in NUS?! And lots of stairs as well!

Weiliat celebrated my birthday for me again on Saturday. heheh... he bought me a beautiful bouquet of pink tulips and my favourite mango cake, plus very nice white wine to go with it! He brought me to a very romantic place and we ate the mango cake together. At night we went to Night Safari... i love that place... cos i like to see animals.. thats why i like the Zoo too.. but Night Safari is better cos its at night, the weather is cooling and its more interesting to see the animals' night activities. We had so much fun! My favourite is the very adorable mousedeer... its even smaller than an average dog!

I'm 19 years old liao loh!! Yesterday both my aunt and mom took leave to celebrate my birthday.. haha.. (wo hao da pai) We went shopping at Orchard.. my mom bought me a dress from COAT'S (Tangs)... so pretty!! hehee.. i'm gonna wear it to my bf's graduation ball at THE CHEVRONS (the SAF clubhouse at Jurong East)... So i cannot describe how the dress looks like cos i wanna give him a surprise. lalalaaa... =)
After shopping we all went to my another aunt's house where she cooked a feast for me! Got my favourite chilli crabs, and durian.. finger-licking good man. I also played with my super adorable baby niece (my biao jie's daughter is my niece rite?) ... anyway she's very very cute. Can't wait for her to grow up then i can bring her out to play! haha...

I'm gonna turn 19 tomorrow!!! Finally... haha.. no la.. actually not very interested in growing old so fast.. I think it sounds so much older when my age starts with a '2' .. thats just next year. so fast! Growing up really comes with lots of responsibilities.. Like now i'm working and my mom doesnt give me $$ anymore.. i'm totally in charge my own finances.. its kind of stressful at times.. cos you know how much i like to shop.. and all that money just disappears in a flash. hehe.. okok.. I'll try to change.. and i shall be more successful than Rebecca Bloomwood (from 'The Shopaholic'). haha.. =)

Tidied up my room again today.. if you can remember, i tidied up my room only 3 weeks ago... but now its so messy...so i've got to clear up the mess again!
And i cleaned my hamsters' cage also... i think they are so cute..
They are dwarf hamsters.. species name is Roborovskii.. they are about 2 years old now... suppose to be equivalent to about 60+ years old in humans.. but they are still as active as ever..

Recently been reading this psychology book called 'The Road Less Travelled' by M.Scott Peck... There's this chapter about dependency in relationships. Some people might be too dependent on his/her partner and feel that he/she cannot live without the other..This kind of people are said to have 'passive dependent personality disorder'... People with this disorder are so busy seeking to be loved that they have no energy left to love. It is as if within them they have an inner emptiness, a bottomless pit crying out to be filled but which can never be completely filled. They tolerate loneliness very poorly and they have no real sense of identity. Such people often end up with failed relationships as the depended party becomes too overwhelmed and dread the relationship.

Watched 'Super Size Me' with Weiliat yesterday... its a documentary about this guy who tried to eat Mac for a month.. with EVERY SINGLE MEAL from Mac.. I think its crazy.
I personally dislike mac food... except only the fries (but i like Mos fries the best) and for convenience cos its everywhere.. From that show i've learnt about how unhealthy is mac food.. so now i dislike Mac even more.

I'm sure one would realise that on the smart4 uniform there'll be the name of the recruit stitched on it. If his name is Tan Chu Meng for example, it would appear as C.M.Tan. So by right for my bf it should be W.L.Chee Thow .. but maybe cos they think the surname is too long or its simply an error.. it appeared as T.W.Chee.. So it means his surname is Chee, name is Thow Wei and Christian name is Liat. Hahaaa..hey actually if you pronounce Li-at in a more ang-moh way it can sound like a Christian name. Heehee..

Btw... VJChoir and Victoria Chorale are both in Germany now taking part in the Choir Olympics.. Hope they'll be victorious!

Leading a boring life these days... Done nothing much worth mentioning here.. Except maybe... I watched Mean Girls yesterday with Zan Xuan... And went shopping at Toa Payoh with Sheya today. Mean Girls was quite nice.. obviously a girly show.. Luckily i didnt try to make Weiliat watch it with me..i doubt he would have enjoyed it. heheh. And btw i think Lindsay Lohan is very pretty! I already think she's really pretty since the time she acted in Parent Trap years ago.. i like that show a lot, i watched it 3 times.

It appears that school is starting soon... but actually its still nearly 3 weeks away..
I've never hope for school to start so much.. hahaa... kinda miss school i guess..
I should have been for enthusiastic about all the orientation camps.. if i joined then i wouldn't have been so bored.. hai.. but i hesitated too much la.. they said registration closed when i finally called them up.

I'm going to Arts fac after 6 years in Science fac... Sometimes i really wonder whether i've made the right choice.. Am i more of an arts student or science student? All i know is that i like geography...
Sometimes thinking about this whole new environment makes me feel sick...
Seriously i'm not the kind who adapts quickly...
Just hope everything goes well... =)

Didnt do anything interesting during the past few days... Except for watching Spiderman2 with Weiliat on Sunday, all I've done was watch MVP Valentine....
Spidey was nice... better than the first i would think... And of cos watching with Weiliat made it even better...hehee..
As for MVP... I'm at episode 17 already... Angel absolutely sucks!!!! For those who have watched it before you'll agree with me... grossed out by her.

Spent the whole day being a couch potato... Watched 7 VCDs in one afternoon until my eyes couldn't take it... I haven't done such a thing for a long time.. The last time was when i watched Huan Zhu Ge Ge a few years back...
Guess wad i watched today?

MVP Valentine.

Its the only serial Weiliat watched on vcd... He's definitely not the kind that will watch a whole serial of 20+ episodes at one shot.. The only reason for the exception is because of basketball...
Basketball is his passion.

Before i knew him, i didnt like basketball.. i thought it was a very rough game...whereby a bunch of sweaty guys chase after a ball under the hot sun...
I didnt understand his passion.. i didnt understand his desire to play..
So we would always quarrel when he was torn between going out with me or going to play bball with his friends... I'll get really pissed when he chooses bball, or go out with me but his mind wonders off to the bball court.
There was once we nearly broke up because of bball...
Afterwhich, i told myself i have to try to understand the 'wonders of basketball'...
I tried reading 'Complete Idiot's Guide to Basketball' and also forced myself to go to the bball court where he's playing and watch.. at first it wasnt very pleasant mainly becos of the heat.. but after awhile, i realised watching a bball match can be a very nice experince..

Because i can see their passion and their spirit.. they are not afraid of the hot sun scorching their skin nor the sun rays blinding their eyes... not even when they have to run around barefooted when the ground is so hot, not even when they have a sprained ankle which haven healed properly, and not even when they have some smelly sweat smeared on them when they try to guard someone.....
I saw a display of sportsmanship, a union of friends with similar interest having a happy time together...

I finally knew why basketball is part of his life.. it brings him joy and friendships.. He needs it as much as he needs me.. Oh why did i have to be jealous of bball??

Now things are much better, i'll always let him go play bball when he wants to... i dun even mind going there and just sit there and watch for hours under the hot sun... even when i have to help them buy drinks and food. I just dun mind.. Now i really do enjoy watching bball... Weiliat is an influential person... plus i was willing to be influenced...

Enough of reflections of the day la... haha... MVP is a nice show... =)
