DA NIAN CHU SAN (which was yesterday) - House hopping bai nian day
People who took part: Me, Jolin, Jacqueline, Dewi, Aliah and Zhiliang
First stop was to Jacqueline's house at Woodlands where we had YU SHENG that costs nearly a hundred bucks. You know WHY?? Heheh.. We ordered the yu sheng from Sakae Sushi.. the medium size one.. so thats abt 40 dollars.. AND.. Zhiliang brought a can of Ren Yue pai bao yu (abalone) from home to add into the yu sheng.. and that costs abt 50 dollars.. SO that amounts to abt 100 bucks. WAAAAAHH. Anybody eat before so expensive yu sheng?? Hahaha.. NO rite? Dun be so jealous yet... The best thing is the we only paid around 15 dollars for that whole plate of GOOD STUFF wor.. Haha.. Cannot believe it rite? Who ask the Sakae people sooo slow.. Never prepare earlier make us wait for so long.. and poor Zhiliang have to walk from Jacqueline place's to collect it... SO for that we were only charged the price of the small yu sheng instead of the medium one.. YEAAAHH. And the shang deng bao yu is compliments from Zhiliang's mum.. YEAAAHHH.. We had SUPER DUPER NICE yu sheng for so little money!!! Haha!! (refer to the photo of the yusheng, look out for the pieces of abalone. yum yum.)
Second stop was Zhiliang's house at Hougang where we got to can1 guan1 his SUPER BIG bedroom with so many things cluttered around... which includes his CD collection, book collection, a 'heritage corner' where he keeps all his old things, book shelves with lotsa things i cant remember wad, and a bed, a table, a computer, a tv, and an entire collection of Sesame Street mini soft toys hanging on the wall.. and a sofa and 4 doors.... Ooopps....Hehe.. We thoroughly enjoyed looking at his photos.. especially the photos of him when he was younger.. He looked soooo cute then!! My favourite is this 8R size photo of him when he was abt 1 year old i think.. he was opening his mouth and drooling... Hahaha.. The highlight was actually that we FINALLY got to watch him play his Pipa in front of us.. So interesting wor.. I never get to see exactly how the fingers work on the strings.. Always find it so amazing.. Now finally can see but i still dun understand how it works la.. obviously. =P
Third and last stop was Jolin's house at Geylang East (Aljunied). We tabao-ed dinner from a nearby hawker centre to eat at her house... Then so qiao when we got to the lift her parents were there too! So everyone of us plus her parents went up the lift together. Her room very pretty wor!! So so girly and sweet kind.. I especially like her flower decorations and photo frames lying around.. One of them has a photo of me, Jolin and Esther! Hehe.. We looked at her photo albums too.. We realised her facial expressions when young still persist till now.. Especially the frowning expression with droopy eyebrows.. hehee.. She has been doing it since 3 years old i think.. Haha..
